To understand how govAscend can help meet your mobile software application needs, your first step is to visit the Application Library. There, you can quickly find mobile data query and field reporting applications relevant to law enforcement. The applications were created by law enforcement and IT professionals like you who have extensive industry knowledge. They know what is needed and what works. Once at the library, browse through the application categories, review the featured applications and check out the most popular applications. Then, select the application of interest, and read the description, author’s notes and the reviews to learn more.

• Checking Out an App
  After you find an application, you may want to check it out more thoroughly. Click “Get Viewer” to download the govAscend Viewer. It is simple, safe and free. And it allows you to view any of the govAscend mobile software applications from your computer.
  
  
• Viewer is Installed
  After the Viewer is installed on your computer, go to the Application Library. Find the application that you want. Click the “View” button. The application is automatically opened in the Viewer on your computer.

Make it Yours
Now that you've found the govAscend applications that you want to use, you are ready to proceed to the next step – downloading the application and modifying it to meet your needs. The govAscend Portal provides all the tools you need to build, modify, deploy and share mobile data software applications. With it, you can download entire applications from the Application Library. Use the applications as they are, or use the govAscend Designer to modify them to meet your specific needs.
